Medical data, juvenile information, protected identifiers, victim or witness details, security material, sealed cases, and active investigative content may be withheld or redacted. Request the nonexempt remainder. An empty destination field should never be treated as proof that the person went home.

- Request the booking photograph or property acknowledgment only when needed, tied to that exact admission.
- Ask for electronic delivery, redaction of exempt details, and the segregable open portion of any mixed record.
- Set a cost limit and request an itemized estimate before the custodian incurs higher fees.
Missouri Chapter 610 requires action as soon as possible and no later than the end of the third business day after receipt. The custodian may produce access or explain a reasonable delay and give the earliest place, time, and date for access. This is a response deadline, not a promise of full production in three business days. No verified regional-jail fee schedule was found, so request an estimate rather than assuming the sheriff’s report-copy prices apply.

The jail also houses people for outside jurisdictions. A person held in Pattonsburg is therefore not necessarily a Daviess County defendant. The Missouri Department of Corrections Offender Search is the readable first stop for active MDOC cases. It covers incarcerated people and those on active probation or parole. It does not serve as a live list of every person ever booked in the regional jail, and its landing page excludes discharged offenders. An institution assignment means the person remains incarcerated by Missouri even if the regional jail stay ended. A field assignment points to community supervision. A completed record can support discharge, while no active profile alone remains inconclusive. For a time-sensitive event, confirm with the responsible institution, MDOC Constituent Services, or the supervising office.
Daviess Release Records Follow Court
The regional jail serves several jurisdictions, and its FAQ tells callers to contact the “county of interest” for court dates. Do not assume every person held in Pattonsburg has a Daviess case. Pattonsburg sits just off Interstate 35.
